Can you host a website someone else built?
Yes. I move it over, check that every page and form still works, and point your domain at the new home. If the old site is slow or broken, I will tell you what it would take to fix it.
Will I lose my Google ranking if I switch hosts?
Not if the move is done carefully. Page addresses stay the same or get redirected, so the ranking you earned carries over. That is how I moved Fallbrook CARS.
Who owns my domain?
You do. It stays registered in your name, and if you ever leave, you take it with you.
What happens if the site goes down?
Every client site is watched around the clock. If it stops responding, I get an alert and start fixing it, usually before you notice.
